Itinerary for Applicants U.K

C.V and photographs

1. Please bring a C.V containing complete history

2. Portrait photographs post card size in practise clothes 7 in all (to be posted with application)

a. Head and Shoulders

b. One of each- Full length front, side and back standing with feet slightly apart in a natural stance

c. First arabesque en lair

d. Degage croise devant arms in fifth

e. Attitude croise derriere en lair arms in fifth

Clothing for the audition classes

1. Girls: Ballet tights, leotard, and ballet shoes for classical class

Boys: Unitard or vest and tights with socks and canvas or leather ballet shoes

For classical class

2. Free choice of dance wear (No Baggy Clothing) Jazz shoes please (No Split Sole trainers) for jazz class

Performance

1. Please prepare a dance solo of your choice that shows off your performance side

this can either be classical or cabaret but no longer than two and a half minutes

2. Please prepare one of the following: A Verse or prose, A Nursery Rhyme. You will be assessed on your articulation, clarity and tone.

3. Please prepare a song of your choice no longer than a verse and chorus, or if you dont have a set piece you will be asked to sing Happy Birthday acappella.

All music should be on a cassette or C.D clearly marked with your name.
